3M 8210 Particulate Respirators Review
I use the 3M 1860 N95 respirator for mowing the lawn, and it is great. I’m allergic to the grass, as well as other debris from the lawn mower. Without a respirator (or even WITH one that doesn’t filter as well) I have trouble breathing afterward. This is just the product for me.

I ordered this product to protect myself from getting sick while flying. While waiting at the gate for the last flight I took, I noticed some very sick, symptomatic people waiting for my flight and I was unprotected. And guess what, I became very ill 3 days after flying. A client of mine recommended an “N-95″ mask, so I googled and found the best price on Amazon. When the product arrived, I was impressed with the quality and especially the breatheability. Two weeks later the story broke about the man that flew with TB. But I am now protected. An unexpected bonus was that this mask saved me and allowed me to continue working during the raging wildfires in Southeastern Georgia/Northern Florida, in the region where I live. The smoke hung in the air thicker than fog.

Everybody is worried about swine flu these days, including apparently large numbers of people who are not hypochondriacs. Wearing one of these masks makes me look sagacious and commanding, like Dustin Hoffman in Outbreak but even more heroic. People have come up to me and asked if I work “for the government.” I just give them an authoritative look and say, “Don’t worry, citizen. Everything is under control,” punctuating my words with decisive gestures. I used to be cool even before I wore this mask, but now I am easily the most awesome person in my county.

I think these are well made. I have no problem with the straps of which there are two. The two straps add to the tightness of the fit which is importand for these be of any help in keeping out the dust. There is also a foam pad on the inside of the nose bridge which adds to the comfort level. I am cutting cement board in the hot sun and would rather use this style of mask as opposed to a full respirator.

I wear this mask all the time and thanks to it I haven’t contracted the swine flu. I’ve been wearing it for about 5 years (not the same mask, but the same make) and haven’t gotten Pig Flu, Bird Flu, SARS, or Mad Cow. It works really well and I would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want to get the flu and die. I just wish they’d make it in more colors so I could co-ordinate my wardrobe with my mask.

3M 8000 Particle Respirator N95 Review
We are living in China, use the masks for occassional dust storms blowing through the city. Also, carry them on hand while bicycling for dust problems while travelling through small towns. Works great!

These face masks are high quality and are comfortable to wear. I use them when scooping my cat’s litter boxes so I do not inhale the litter dust that escapes into the air.
